This was a week of crafting, chocolates, early nights, reading, munching and actually straightening my hair!

This was a week of flowers in the garden and flowers on the table, Peppa Pig puzzles, naps on the sofa, fairy cake baking and before-bedtime jumping on the bed!
I managed to get the chance to head down to Swansea bay by myself the other week to catch the amazing red arrows as part of the Wales National Airshow. They were absolutely brilliant! The skill involved in what they do is just incredible! It was a beautiful day for it in Swansea bay and it was so, so hot on the beach. I was really glad that I managed to get down on my own, it was so busy down there, it would have been a nightmare trying to keep track of a very active 2 year old! Not a chance I would have been able to take any photos if Rhys had been with me! Did you make it to the airshow? What was your favourite part? I'm already looking forward to the next one in 2015!
Having children can be stressful, exhausting and downright infuriating at times; but through all of that there are those quiet moments where you stop and look at these amazing little people and all the stress fades away. Watching them sprawled out in bed, safe and content is just a beautiful sight.
You just have to make sure that once you've finished peeking you can creep out of the room quietly enough so that you don't wake them up! |
