Lucky for me, it was a gorgeous sunny day in Swansea, so we headed out to Horton on the Gower for a picnic and a play and an impromptu portrait session! I managed three photos just as we were heading home, and actually got the best of the lot was the very first one.
Not bad considering we had two very tired children on our hands (they were both asleep within 5 minutes of getting back in the car!).
Over on my personal blog 'This Glorious Life' I've written a few posts about how important it is for us parents to make the effort to get in front of the camera more and exist in photos for our children. I'm also really aware of how hard this can be in practice.
For various reasons the days and weeks just pass without us getting in a photo (even if we have the camera out every day, taking photos of our children).
I'm taking some time to look into this, and try to come up with a plan to get past those obstacles and excuses that get in our way, and make it easier for all of us to be in more photos. Watch this space for the answers I come up with!
